Half the fee confirms almost every booking made on this site, a first one included, and what the house keeps if you cancel follows the notice you give rather than the hour on the clock. Only a returning client's same-day hour or two at a city address is paid entirely at the door.
A booking holds an hour that nothing else can be put into. Once a therapist has agreed to be at a door at half past two, that part of her night is gone whether or not anyone opens it, and the same is true of the two hours either side of it, which are now too fragmented to offer to anyone else. The deposit is what makes that commitment mutual. It is not a security held aside and handed back; it is the first half of the fee itself, calculated on the figure printed in the profile of the therapist you chose, named in writing in the booking thread once the hour is agreed, and settled before she sets out.
Every profile on the roster carries the full set of figures for one guest and for a couple, with one therapist or two, and half of whichever figure applies is what goes ahead. It is asked for on these seven kinds of booking:
Read the figures as halves and they stop being abstract. A night at EUR 1,250 is EUR 625 before and EUR 625 at the door. That same night with two therapists is EUR 2,880, so EUR 1,440 goes ahead. Three hours from one in the morning at EUR 540 confirms with EUR 270. Two hours for a couple with a therapist each is EUR 1,440, half of it EUR 720. Ninety minutes at EUR 270, booked for the following night, confirms with EUR 135.
One booking carries nothing in advance. A client the house has looked after before, at an address inside the city, asking for one or two hours later the same day, pays the whole fee when she arrives. Move that request to another date, add a second therapist, stretch it past three hours, put it at an airport hotel, land it on a peak date or make it a first booking, and half goes ahead again.
Card first for the deposit, with Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency for anyone who would rather use them. Bank transfer and PayPal are not used. Cash cannot serve as a deposit for the plain reason that a deposit is settled before she leaves and cash only changes hands in the room. The exact amount and the destination appear in the booking thread after the hour is agreed, and nowhere else at all. Every figure on this site is a euro figure. The balance is paid at the door on arrival, and a balance paid in cash in another major currency is welcome, with the exact sum in that currency confirmed to you in writing before she sets out. Cancelling never puts you in debt to the house. What may be kept is the share of the fee already earned at the moment your message lands, and the notice you give is the only thing that sets that share:
Two things reduce even the last of those. If the hour you released is taken by another client, the deposit is repaid in full, because the time was not lost after all. If you can show that the loss to the house was smaller than the part it kept, it keeps only that smaller amount.
Take a two hour booking at EUR 360 for half past one in the morning, confirmed with EUR 180. Cancelled the previous afternoon, the whole EUR 180 comes back. Cancelled at eleven that evening, before she has left, EUR 90 is kept and EUR 90 returns. Cancelled at twenty past one while she is already crossing the city, the EUR 180 stays with the house, unless the hour is re-let.
One change of date is free. The request has to reach the thread more than twenty-four hours before the booked time, and the new date has to fall within fourteen days. With both of those satisfied, the deposit travels across intact. A second move, or a move asked for inside the final day, is measured on the notice scale exactly as a cancellation sent at that moment would be, and whatever the scale does not keep travels on to the new date.
Something genuinely outside either side's control can stop a booking: a transport shutdown, a serious disruption in the city, an official instruction that makes the journey impossible. In that case nothing is forfeited and nothing is argued about. The deposit becomes credit, held against a date you do not have to choose immediately. A cold, a change of plan, a meeting that overran, a flight moved by an airline and a decision at midnight that you would rather sleep are all on your side of that line, and each one is a move or a cancellation read on the scale above.
If the house is unable to perform the session you booked, the choice belongs to you rather than to the house. You may ask for the deposit back in full, or leave it as credit against a new date for as long as you need to settle on one. If the therapist you chose cannot come, the house tells you as soon as it knows, and you either take someone else from the roster or take the deposit back.
A booking arranged in writing, without the two sides meeting first, is a service agreed at a distance. The rules for such agreements sit in Book 6 of the Dutch Civil Code, at articles 6:230m to 6:230z, which bring the European consumer rules into Dutch law. Under them a consumer ordinarily has fourteen days in which to withdraw from a distance agreement. Article 6:230p sets out the agreements that right does not extend to, and among them are services connected with leisure activities where the agreement names a specific date or period for performance. Every booking with this house names an hour on a named day, which is precisely the situation that article describes. For that reason the fourteen-day right does not arise here at all. Nothing in these terms asks you to give up a right, because there is no right of that kind to give up.
There is a second footing under a same-day session. Before she sets out, the house asks you to write in the thread that you want the session performed at once, and that you understand the fourteen-day right will not apply to it once it has been performed. Everything else agreed between the two sides sits in the terms.
If you decide at four in the morning that you have had enough of the night and end a session before the booked time is up, the full fee remains payable and nothing is refunded. The hours were held for you, she travelled out to reach you, and what is left of them cannot be given to anyone else at that point in the night.
Your therapist decides what a session includes and says what her limits are before it starts, and those limits hold for the whole visit. Where her safety or her comfort is not respected, or a limit of hers is pushed at, the visit ends at that moment. The fee for the reserved time stays due, and beyond it nothing whatever is added.
A booking is a false booking if any one of the following is true:
A missed appointment on its own meets none of those criteria. A client who booked honestly and then did not answer the door has made an ordinary cancellation, handled on the notice scale like any other.
Where a booking does fit one of the criteria, or a visit is ended because a limit was pressed, the house writes a short internal note. It records the date, what happened, and the name and number the booking came from, and it is held for twelve months. Nobody outside the house sees it, and it settles a single question: whether a further booking from that name is taken. Two lines settle it: where the room is, and what time you want someone at the door. The answer comes back with a name, an arrival window and the whole figure, whatever the clock says.
